Antivirus Exclusions

PreviousPermissionsNextiPXE Anywhere Web Service Install

Last updated 1 year ago

On the iPXE Anywhere Web Service Server, it is recommended that antivirus real-time-scanning exclusions be put in place to not interrupt the handling of files and operations. Exclusions should be made by excluding both specific folder locations which store service executables and database files and by excluding specific processes.

Process to Exclude: iPXEAnywhere.Service

Folder to Exclude for the 2PXE Program Files: <Installation Dir>\2Pint Software\iPXE AnywhereWS

Other Folders and Processes: If SQL Server or SQL Express is installed on the same server hosting the iPXE Anywhere Web Service, follow on best practices for antivirus exclusions.
